Think Outside the Box

I adore minimalism at this point in my life. It brings me great comfort. Therefore, it is an ongoing goal to keep the clutter at bay in our home.

Sometimes you have to think outside the box when it comes to decluttering. Something as simple as a repurposed old shoe box (a beautiful one btw) can keep feminine products out of sight encouraging a minimalist ascetic.

Pine Cones, Pumpkins, No Porch - No Problem

There is something so cozy about a porch during the fall. However, not everyone has access to that great outside spot, but no worries you can still create a cozy fall vibe in any entryway. Utilizing natural resources, different textures and some help from the dollar store you can create a high end look that makes you ready to get cozy!

Supplies Needed:

Wire Basket - I was able to grab a great gold basket at the Dollar store

Pine Cones

Natural Cotton - I grabbed some from the Dollar store

Decorative Pumpkins -I also grabbed these from the Dollar store

I love this diy because it can make a great addition to a table scape or can decorate other areas of the home. It’s not just for entry ways.

1. Make sure pine cones are clean (no spiders - even though Halloween is around the corner).

2. Fill wire basket with pine cones.

3. Add Natural Cotton on the side.

4. Add decorative or real pumpkins beside the basket and you are all set.

You can add this to a table in a foyer or entryway. Adding a small bench with a textured blanket and some pillows can bring a cozy fall look right into your entryway. Adding some additional pumpkins and you can tie your fall look all together.
